Uncorked Ventures Wine Club Review |
After 10 years of reviewing wine clubs, we finally found one that focuses specifically on bringing exceptional wines (90+ point wines) from small and boutique wineries straight to your door. These wines come from top wineries, as well as up and comming wineries you probably haven't heard of yet. The owners started Uncorked Ventures in order to bring high quality, hard-to-find wines at a fair price to customers who can't readily access such wines. Uncorked Ventures prides themselves on only sending you wine of exceptional quality; we're talking 90+ point wines here. The owners, Matt Krause and Mark Aselstine, personally try each and every wine they consider for their wine club, and then only send you the ones that truly made the grade. That's a nice personal touch you won't get with the big corporate run wine clubs. |

Wine Education: Excellent
Every wine club shipment comes with detailed notes on the quality wines you receive. You will learn about the vineyard that the wine came from, the people that made it, how exactly it was made and what made it so special to receive a 90 to 100 point rating. (see example #1 and example #2) |

Pricing: Excellent
Uncorked Ventures offers 3 different wine clubs: Wine Exploration Club, Special Selections Wine Club and the Reserve Selections Wine Club. Pricing starts at $20 a bottle and goes all the way up to $97.50 a bottle, depending on the club you choose. If you can afford it, we highly recommend the Reserve Selections Club.
